About this metric
When an AI assistant answers a buying question, the domains it cites become the new front page of the web. This chart tracks the single most-cited domain across Rank.ai's public prompt benchmark for model and API questions, and what share of answers cite it at least once.
The share is the percentage of the complete benchmark answer cohort containing at least one validated structured citation to the domain. Citations are parsed from the answers themselves under a published methodology; a domain mentioned without a citation does not count, and coverage is measured against all answers, not only answers with sources.
Sourcing visibility is upstream of brand visibility: assistants recommend what their retrieved sources support. A community forum or documentation site holding the top slot tells you where the answer layer actually gets its evidence, and it is the clearest target list for anyone trying to influence what AI systems say about a market.
